As BBL teams tend to have played an unequal number of games throughout the season, a purely points based table does not give an accurate picture of the relative positions of the teams.
While not perfect, a simple winning percentage based table is more acurate. The effect of head to heads can be included later in the season.
Maybe even a note of the games Sheffield win without having any of the Unsworths officiaing their games :-)
The table below shows the picture after last nights games.

I think the % is the only way the league should be showed personally for the reasons you've stated.

Much as I prefer the BBL version with Eagles at the top, I agree your version is more realistic. I normally just look at the losses column which amounts to much the same thing - who's going to remove Riders zero losses ?
