Going to be really interesting to see what difference Hicks makes - think it could be a very good game to watch. Praying for double overtime to wear out Flyers.

Hmm, very disappointing. Back to square one and you could hear that in Creon’s post-match interview. All the good work and growing confidence of the Cheshire and Manchester games undone after that dire first half. We have an embarrassment of offensive talent in the roster but have only broken the 80 point mark twice in 9 games this season and lost them both.
As much as there are problems on defence and what’s happening on the boards is a big concern for me, we aren’t hitting the right notes going forward either. Not sure what has happened to the Lovell Cook who was tearing up the BBL last season, for example.
All round a lot of work to be done. Wolves is winnable but how long have we waited for a road win in the league? The commentators are spot on that we have the talent and the depth on the bench but it’s just not happening, certainly not consistently.
Big job for Creon (again) ahead of the Christmas fixtures v Wolves and Lions.
As a side note, in terms of ‘optics’, I’m really enjoying the HT and post game shows and analysis. Think Tom and the team are doing a great job and I’m happy to part with my cash to pay for the Surrey product, but not the automated rubbish from the other clubs. However - at a time Surrey has gone Tier 4, the lack of social distancing doesn’t look great lads. More so with Creon after the game.

That was an enjoyable watch as a Flyers fan, very little worrying periods like normal.
