What an absolute waste of time and money that was
Mickey Mouse and Donald F**king Duck are at it again, paid a fiver to watch nothing then the link on the BBL player for the Lions v Worcester game brings up Lions V Giants from Friday
What is the point of delivering a second rate service using third world hardware !!!
Was prepared to pay to watch this as the YouTube coverage from Friday was good, multiple cameras, amusing commentary and good shot making
Now we get this CR*P and I will not be bothered ever again to try supporting this half cocked bunch of misfits called the BBL

Working for me now, BUT got the Lions v Giants game first off, and then couldn't login and had to change my password THREE times before I finally managed to login in. and the correct game came up.
So, in total, I have missed almost all of the first half, and become extremely pi**ed off with all the attempts to login successfully.
Like Sharkfan, I don't think I'll bother again.

Absolutely no attempt at defense from the Wolves. I've seen a hatful of successful three pointers, and not one of them has been contested.

Exactly my experience. If its free you could almost excuse this **** show, but if we're being expected to pay for it, it has to actually work. This game was basically over after the first, of which I saw none of it. Trash.

Perhaps we should demand a refund, it might be the only way the BBL will realize that the BBLplayer is not working adequately.
However, not sure how to demand a refund.

Fortunately as an avid reader of Whatsbev I have taken the advice of all Whatsbevvers and signed up but kept my money in my pocket where I think it will stay.

Last season was bad enough in terms of some shocking camerawork and (some) horrendous commentators, but at least it was freemans for all.
Now we have double the problems in terms of still some shocking camerawork and (very occasionally) dodgy commentators, (although those aspects have certainly improved), and now the extra need to fight your way through the most appallingly incompetent paywall that has ever existed.
How much of the £4.99 is taken by the paywall, because if its at all a significant figure then surely the BBL can get better VFM.
Just like last year's poor pictures will have turned off any potential new fans for British basketball, this year the loyal existing fans are being double-dicked around.
I know that some have said that the BBL is offering refunds, but how much is this costing? Maybe there needs to a full cost/benefit analysis to determine whether the paywall has to go?
Farcical

Following on from this, I did send an email to the BBL about my appalling experiences last night trying to view the Lions v Wolves game. To their credit, I did receive an apologetic email from Selina this morning, apologizing for the "technical issues" and assuring me that I have been given a full refund.

It's unfortunate because when the game came on, the quality of the stream was good, the camera work was far better than the single use camera used by many others & that was easily Darren's best commentary for Lions & Nigel is always worth listening to.
It's just a shame Lions don't do any half time production. Even if it was only promoting future games for Lions & the BBL it would be better than nothing & I'm sure there's enough people involved with Lions that they could do features on them which would easily last the season.
