Will Delph be available for this one?
How different this matchup is from just a month ago. At one point it looked like it could be a wooden spoon battle. Imports could make this a playoff battle IMO

Rocks said delpha registration was delayed by fiba. Could be a number of reasons. I hope this is a good game but I think wolves might just take it.

was a shame this was MBA's last game of contract with Wolves - could it not just have ended a game earlier? Delph and Keeling have certainly added to the squad - and hopefully Delph will get chance to 'earn' increased minutes and start spot in training. Did think his first spell on court would have led to more time than he had. If MBA had left - maybe someone in Wolves new imports would have stepped up - but I suspect Rocks would have got the W without his presence, especially in first half where Rocks struggled to control him.
The three was very off for Rocks - so was good they had options to go to in the paint.
Have had a player coach before - and Stirling spent a lot longer on court and had an assistant prowling the sidelines. Gareth is the missing player for so much of the rough spells - hope he can work out how to get himself more involved on court and trust his assistant to deliver what Gareth wants from the squad when he is in the game.
I fear for the squad for Saturday afternoons game though. Too many MBA quality players in that Lions squad.

Sadly I feel the Rocks made the wrong call appointing Gareth, I've said it before. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't in regards to hiring from within. I feel as if this is one of those that hasn't and probably won't work out.

Just hope they use him more and Keeling finds more space to work. With Gareth not playing much - I don't think the issue is Gareth not trusting his assistant, I think it's more him looking at the bigger picture knowing that he's coming to a close in his playing years. He won't want the guys getting used to him being there as he's not going to be possibly at the end of this season. He must be 36/37 years old? So I can see why he'd refuse to play and try focus more on the coaching and the development of other guys.
