Fortunately, Lions also lost, so the only winners for the Championship today look like the Eagles. William Lee still clearly injured and trying to play through it, and Corey had a nightmare this afternoon. Heron is getting better, but it's a slow job, hopefully a full week of practice will improve things radically. I think he lacks game experience and tbf to him he flew in on Thursday and has been chucked on court without the opportunity to train properly with teammates. Pretty sure he'll be fine. More worried that Falzon & Fraser don't really appear to contribute much off the bench atm.

I do worry about Falzon, too often he is given the ball head on to the basket on the 3 point line, when there are more capable three point shooters like Washington and Heron waiting for the ball on each wing, generally Falzon misses the 3. Ali Fraser I still think is a decent backup to DN-H.

Rob will be glad to have a week off and watch those games back, certainly lot's to learn from them. I'm sorry, but how do you know what Rob's thinking? Maybe he's looking forward to having a week with his family! Only Rob knows!

Maybe, but I imagine he will rewatch the tape and make adjustments like he will every week.

Keith Bloody Williams needs to watch the tape back, Look at that atrocious call against Crandell just before the “T” And make adjustments such as don’t make yourself the centre of attention, We here to watch the players, not the power crazed refs.

Is there no review system for the call that Keith Williams made against Crandall? No matter how many times I watch it back on Youtube, it is clear that Bouwknecht was moving sideways at some speed, and there is no view of Crandall using an elbow into Bouwknecht's chest. To my mind, it was a clear blocking foul on Crandall. However, it's not the first, and it won't be the last, diabolical call that Keith Williams makes. We should ask Neil Wilkinson to take a look at it.

The thing that annoyed me so much is that Geno was talking to him just before that (seemingly about a lack of a call on a previous play) and Keith has basically said F you, you don't question me, I'm going to foul you out of the game. Obviously we don't know what was said but if it's that bad T him up before hand.
You can't referee games in this way. All sports are played with emotions running high and refs take way more than their share of the grief from all angles but you can't make calls like that based on a dislike of someone or what they've said.

It’s certainly not a foul by bouwknecht.
The issue is the level of contact Crandall created. It’s absolutely minimal. It’s a stone-cold no call, play on.

So long as we scrape the championship, I am fine with that. Championship already in the bag mate Lions have lost one game more than Riders. We edged a win against Wolves then lost to them and Nix, looking unconvincing in the latter stages. Have you looked at league results lately? No way is the league title in the bag - for any team, let alone us.
