Don't think that Nix are the easiest team to beat at the moment. As recent performances show you can't relax until well after the final hooter has gone especially if the ball is still in the air. Despite all the talk of the twin towers up front with MBA and Jimbo, its the back court thats winning us games. This is definitely a match up between the two best point guards in the league at the moment

Interestingly Fletcher isn't hitting the headlines at the moment but as a PG whose main aim is to run the team, if the rest of the team isn't clicking then their results drop.

Live stats says 9 players, only 7 used half way through second quarter.

What’s very telling to me is that Corey Johnson has not even attempted a single 3 point shot. He’s been really struggling in recent games and it seems to have got to him. It is hampering Riders massively as he is not the best defender and without an offence it’s dragging the team down.

What a win. Brilliant team effort without Crandall and what about Heron? A super game from him.

Champions performance that. Incredible 4th quarter. A bunch of really good performances. Great to see Heron get his jumper going, perfect time for a bit of a breakout game. Conner superb. Falzon provided great energy and defence off the bench. Special mention for Jamell. Spent half his time guarding MBA and the other half of his time guarding Ross. Not sure theres another player in the league who can do that.
Interesting one Corey. His shot has definitely been off the last few weeks. Personally I like him on the defensive end. Moves his feet well, has good length and is a decent if not spectacular rebounder for his position. Agree that his real value to us is as a knock down 3 point shooter but he's definitely added to his offence this year. Has developed a bit of a floater and more confident going to the basket. Plus hes a good cutter. Rather he let the offence come to him instead of forcing it. And just by being there he massively spaces the floor for the other 4 on the court

Thought we were gone after 3 amazing 4th quarter
Credit to Conner and heron for stepping up in Geno's absence. First time we've seen the true heron sweet jumper from the college videos. Revelled in the extra responsibility

Revelled in the extra responsibility Not just his jump shooting either - his all round game was excellent with rebounding and lay-ups too. Opponents don't know whether he's going to shoot from the perimeter or drive to the basket.

Lot of pressure on Washington tonight yet he responded so well. Two turnovers late in the game were probably from tiredness because he had to do it all as PG. One player who has improved a lot for us recently is Fraser. Impressed he offers solid minutes from the bench. I've been one of his hardest critics but recently he's been showing what he can contribute to the team.

Yes you weren’t happy with him earlier in the season

Matched Riders for first 3/4 then lost the plot ( and the ball often ) in that last 10 minutes. Just looked to be going nowhere with poor shots poor everything in attack. Only gave up 22 points at the end but that last quarter ................... At least I didn't get onto bet365 so didn't lose any money!!!

Top marks all round for that Q4. Great to see Heron beginning to make his mark. First three Qs obviously pretty evenly matched. It would have been a brave man to bet on an outcome at that point and Nix certainly made a game of it. But defence wins championships, as they say, and to restrict Nix to 3 was a feat when they had been averaging over 22 per quarter.
