Anothe great result for Lions. Whatever anyone thinks of Vince, he seems to have got the balance right this year. i do wonder why Teague is willing to sit around and play 25 minutes, once a week, in Europe.
I'm surprised the Bull**** Brothers haven't put in an appearance on this thread. Imagine if Lions had lost....

Clearly you lurk. Or you’re the Candyman. I do have a stats link. Same site as last week. And the week before. You’re very needy. My mum’s carer can come and wipe your arse if you need. And Lions aren’t unbeaten in Europe

Interesting that at one point the camera panned around to the one side of seating (raised-up seating in an old leisure centre style, reminded me of The Islington venue where you had to pass a metal detector search for weapons before the game!) and the total crowd couldn't have been more than 30-40 Guess scant attendances despite the high level competition are not just a British occurrence... Got to admit, I too was surprised at the size of the crowd and the level of the 'arena' the Bulls play in. I thought FIBA had quite strict rules around venues for any teams playing in their European competitions? Anyone got a link to box stats? (Can never find them) I post them in this thread every week! Along with details of the game and a link to the live coverage, usually the day before the game.

There was more than 30-40 but probably not many more than 100. The existing venue is a high school but they are building a new venue in collaboration with the Ice Hockey team. I presume at present, FIBA prefer to have more teams than enforce their stadium criteria. I think they can fine clubs but given Kapfenbergs support, I doubt they would be willing to pay any fines so I guess FIBA just turn a blind eye to it all

Great to have another victory in Europe. Being honest, I thought we would have made easier work of it, but we did what was needed at the end of the day. Great game by all the usual suspects again. Having a deep squad is really helping in this competition, Lions generally play with consistency for the full 40 minutes, where as other teams naturally slow down a bit, and that gives Lions enough of an edge to keep winning these games. Elsewhere in the group, last night Medi Bayreuth secured the other position to qualify for the second round, so it's Lions and Bayreuth going through regardless, and the result of next Wednesday's game will determine who wins the group and (theoretically) has the easier second round. If Lions win next week, they win the group. If Bayreuth win next week I assume it'll come down to point difference - whether they can beat Lions by more points than Lions beat them. That's my assumption anyway. PS - Great to hear saintpat at the venue yesterday!

just 7min for justin robinson - is he being eased back into the euro squad system, or was their a knock in the game?

It was only his second game back from a 6 month recovery period, and he put 3 points on the board in those 7 minutes. I agree with what's been said, I think we'll slowly start to see his minutes increase, but with this squad there's not the reliance on him that there once was so I think we'll see a reduction in his overall minutes - both in the BBL and Euro, compared to previous seasons.

i note both of the Bull**** Brothers knew who i referring to.... I could always count on my good friend Hersay to call me out for BS I guess when it come to Lions and 777. Maybe you could answer why they were allowed to purchase the team when the founder is a felon and CONVICTED cocaine trafficker? Is that BS too??

Wheres the law against criminals being able to buy, own and run businesses? Im not condoning the 31g of cocaine he was nicked with in the slightest, but I mean its hardly a reason for him to never be able to do anything again.

If indeed they are the same person (I can't find a DoB for the 777 guy), the answer to your question is that the BBL can't block who a franchise is sold to and they have done nothing to warrant it being taken away. This isn't the NBA. There appears to be nothing to stop him working in virtually any field he wishes.
I'd be interested to know why you're so obsessed, though. Did he sell you some bad smack? It would explain a lot.

Moreover, there is no way he has 3b under management with a felony record in America. But hey, if the BBL is fine with convicted criminals owning teams and the league so be it. But I don’t think it will be OK with FIBA once they find out.

From what I’ve read, you’re seriously overstating how much this guys actually done. Make out as if he’s Tony Montana, and he isn’t.
Not like the yanks to over-exaggerate though eh….

Do you need pictures drawn?

I have no idea what Dunkster/Ron is going on about anymore!
I can't even tell if that Mugshot website is legitimate or what the person it mentions was actually convicted of anything. What position can't this person hold in the USA? And we're back to spouting money laundering again. If this guy was as bad as Dunkster is making out, then I'd be very worried if I was Dunkster/Ron, he might be found dead under the bridge he keeps stepping out from! But I'm guessing Dunkster/Ron is probably just judged as a fantasist nobody that isn't worth taking seriously.
Last year we had all the crap about Liggins, Dunkster really is desperate for Lions & the BBL to fail & it's clearly getting more desperate. I'd suggest a therapist he's so obsessed.
