Indeed Mike. Even an obvious joke comment can get someone a call from BE or the BBL. I could give an example of each from 2016 - neither of which I would consider to involve outlandish or libellous comments.

Having done a wee bit of historical research, I found the way that some organisations and clubs react to message board posts to be "interesting". Priorities in some places are badly skewed.

Question 7 is too hard, is it covered well? Personally I can't go on any social media without seeing great info about all levels. Then again I follow the fight people I suppose

The BBL website has really gone downhill, it used to be so much better, now they cut corners & just make do with clubs own social media stuff for a lot of the content, & it's never up to date as other posters have touched on..

I'm not fishing for compliments(honest) but I'm not a big fan of the massively slimmed down previews. I know the aim was to get them used by the media so if they've realised they're flogging a dead horse perhaps the decision was made to cut costs - getting quotes from every coach plus half a dozen players was time consuming - but I can't see any other reason to cut them back. A single sentence and a quote about the game isn't likely to grab anyone's attention and get them interested. But maybe I'm just living in the past. We're in a soundbite era where 200 words is considered better than 500. Personally I just don't think less is better.

THE previews were 1 of the reasons i visited the bbl website before the next set of fixtures each weekend, shame its so condensed now
