For those that weren't already aware, Matthew Bryan-Amaning won a title in Japan this year, admittedly it was in the 4th tier of professional basketball there, however the league system had recently undergone a merger and a restructuring, so the quality within leagues is mixed somewhat. Anyhow, his team Fukoaka went 46-6 on the season and have been promoted to B-League 2, winning the league title in the process. More pertinent for MBA is the MVP award, that has been awarded to him following a stellar first season in Japan. rizing-fukuoka.com/news/detail/1596rizing-fukuoka.com/news/detail/1591Well done to MBA, and long may his successes continue. Hopefully we will be seeing him suit for Great Britain in the near future!

Is it only me but he never seems to perform in a GB shirt.
He plays around the world, albeit probably a lower level than his talents, and has rave review but just doesn't do it for GB.
Eric Boateng is the same to a lesser extent.

Eric Boateng is the same to a lesser extent. I think he has prioritised his career ahead of performing for GB, he has signed for secondary teams in the summer, similar to how Anderson is doing a summer season down under. Since the few games he played for the Lions, he has played in the top flight of Germany, France, Mexico, Argentina and the Dominican Republic; all bar the last being of high quality. I think there were certain instances where Eric was on a summer league team for the NBA? This may well be the same for MBA but I'm not sure.

He played alongside Dan Clark for the Brooklyn Nets summer league team 2/3 summers ago and it's widely expected that if the season following his graduation hadn't been during the NBA lockout he would've played in the NBA
