GB captain Kieron Achara will suit up for Scotland this summer after being named to a 13-man squad.
Achara is joined in the squad by four team-mates from Glasgow Rocks including fellow GB international, Gareth Murray with former Senior international Ali Fraser also selected.
Fraser Malcolm represented GB at last year’s Under-20 European Championships is also included as part of a strong roster with Scotland stepping up their goal of competing in the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia.
“I am really excited to get in to camp with the guys,” said National Performance Coach, Erik Olson.
“We had a really successful camp last Christmas and this is another superb opportunity for this group of players to come together, work on our vision and prove that we are capable of competing on the Gold Coast next April.
“We have a strong pool of talent joining us this summer and it’s definitely going to be fun to be a part of.”

Or Huffor. I'm sure there was something in the paper that they'd be selected in future.

None of the 3 were available. Because they're off earning a living. I'm not sure how the commonwealth games can work given the timing of the tournament.

Ended 108-44 for Scotland
Pretty comprehensive victory and hopefully a step in the right direction in terms of Commonwealth Games inclusion.

need tougher opponents than wales and ireland to prove we are good enough. thats a stupid score line for an international friendly. shame the games weren't streamed (opportunity missed!?)
nice to see though new names come into the mix

Hardly a surprise. Leopards hammered Wales and (somehow) got relegated. There's a chance Scotland will get in the games but, as I like bamfield and respect the work he's put in, I can't see Wales ever being even mentioned when they invite teams
