Just wondering about the exhibition game at 4 pm on the Wednesday. Promoted as Manchester players past vs current. Anyone got any insight into the line up and whether it’ll be worth watching?

I was wondering about that myself. Manchester do say somewhere details to follow. I’m guessing a line up will appear on Facebook or their website before too long.
Would be nice if Jeff took the past team: Callum, James, Nick George, Andy Tompson, Orlan Jackman, Mike Bernard, Devon Bailey, Ben Eaves and maybe some ex junior magic players currently in college wouldn’t make a bad game?

Manchester Evening News article Manchester Magic's Haris Memorial Tournament has a special twist this year.
An all-star exhibition will open the annual event, which is held at the Amaechi Centre, Whalley Range, in memory of Haris Charalambous .
Contemporaries of the former Magic youth player will band together to take on a team made up of Manchester stars past and present.
The likes of Stefan Gill, Andy and Stuart Thomson, James Jones, Alan Metcalfe and Adam Slater, who came through the Amaechi Centre youth programme alongside Haris, are set to feature on one team.
Mike Bernard and David Watts are among those who will turn out for a Manchester team.
More names could be added with Magic CEO Phil Gordos saying: "We've got lots of Haris' former teammates together for the first time in a long time and lots of other players.
"We're still open to more Manchester players getting involved so if there's anyone who thinks they should be part if it, just get in tough.

The fact that this tournament still happens after all these years shows how great basketball can be in this country

Jeff Jones described the game as fun which is about right. Credit all that took part. Mike Bernard hitting 2 3s. Steve Gayle can still nail a pass. Particularly enjoyed watching Jordan Whelan and Kayim Cleary who took it a little more seriously. Tidy crowd in the evening. Good job done by magic.

Charnwood currently lead England by 19 with 7 to play after defeating them comfortably in the group stage. Accepting that the Charnwood roster has been together over a year and England maybe a week but does this prove the benefit of the basketball academies?

A comfortable victory for the Charnwood side, who were the best defensive team in the competition and won every game.
