Nice bit of coverage for 6'7" Josh McSwiggan (ex Charnwood / Loughborough). Probably the most high profile Brit in D1 and making a name for himself with strong numbers in the West Coast Conference. Portland Pilots are completely overmatched by powerhouse Gonzaga who have a number of NBA prospects in their line up, but good to see a Brit mixing it with those players.

Lets not forget he's a Cheshire product originally is Mr. McSwiggan. Humble lad from what I remember too, good for him.
I once took him out in a friendly when Huddersfield played Leicester Riders in about 2013 preseason I think, Rob P (rightly) flipped his **** at me.....

I think Kavell is probably the most high profile playing for gb men and making the final 4 last year.
McSwuggin seems to get better every time I tune in, he'll be fantastic after 4 years there

Sacha Killeya-Jones is a name that springs to mind, playing for the University of Kentucky. Named as well in the GB training squads for Eurobasket (I think 2017 rather than the qualifiers, my memory escapes me on that).
Another big name, at least in terms of a genuine product out of GB, Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye playing at Bradley College. Oh and if you want BIG names, then Menzies and Okoroh are worth mentioning. I think the former had a thirty point game for Seattle at some point.
Jordan Spencer at Augustana is worth a mention, yeah he plays in an NCAA2 conference, but he'll turn out to be a better product than some of the bench warmers in D1.

Just to throw in on the ladies' side, Savannah Wilkinson and Cheridene Green are both contributing for top-15 ranked schools (Florida State and Tennessee respectively). Wilkinson in particular should get a lot more chances to show what she can do next year, once FSU's senior core graduates.

On that note Toyosi Abiola has won 6 rookie of the week awards this season whilst playing for the Iona Gaels in the MAAC. Not quite a top 15 ranked school, but definitely a good sign of things to come!

An argument about who the best ncaa brit players are, great to see how far we've come in standards for our youth

No argument here! It was more a comment about coverage than quality. It feels to me that there are perhaps less D1 Brit men than say 3 or 4 years ago (but maybe I just knew that Generation better). I can't substantiate that - the best we've got is the annual list Hoopsfix puts together but not sure how comprehensive that is.
