Lol what a joke really! Mike Vigor is as Australian as a vegemite sandwich and shrimps on a barbie "Michael James Vigor is a Scottish-born Australian professional basketball player for the Bristol Flyers of the British Basketball League." He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and moved to Australia when he was five. What part of England were Mike Tuck, Adam Thoseby, and Callum Jones born in? Actually, I think Jones was born in Manchester. But Andrew Lasker? You think he was born in England?

I just like to see that level playing field If you want a level playing field I assume you'll only expect Rob to spend the same as the giants on players, get paid less than £500 a month like the Leeds coach and give up.your arena? I mean for a level playing field and all You can't have a level playing field in sport. You certainly can't have a level playing field in a season where players are disappearing for a month to play for their country but the BBL agreed to cooperate. Maybe if the season had been set up a bit differently, things might have been better .

Lol what a joke really! Mike Vigor is as Australian as a vegemite sandwich and shrimps on a barbie Its the nature of international sport these days. I use the same rule to determine that AC/DC are a Scottish band, formed by two Scots-born brothers, and later joined by a Scots-born singer. Likewise, Dire Straits... It's easier to consider Mike Vigor as Scottish than it is to consider Drew Lasker as English, surely. For England, these are the eligibility rules: www.basketballengland.co.uk/performance/player-eligibility/While for Scotland, eligibility rules for the Commonwealth Games are outlined in this document: www.teamscotland.scot/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/2016-November-Basketball-Selection-Policy-2018.pdfIn summary, To be eligible to compete for Scotland in the Commonwealth Games, an athlete must be a citizen of a Commonwealth country. The following criteria must also be met: Be Born in Scotland and/or Have one or more parents born in Scotland and/or Show they have resided in that country for five years immediately prior to those Games and/or Have previously competed for Scotland in the Commonwealth Games or Commonwealth Youth Games. If none of these categories are met, then the athlete may not be eligible to compete for Scotland at the Commonwealth Games.

Mike Tuck's mother is English so qualifies that way, hence his GB passport. I've seen somewhere that Jones is actually from Manchester, might have read 'playing for his home town team' or such like. Don't know about the other.

Callum Jones is Jeff Jones’ son. Jeff has lived in Manchester for over 40 years and his football goggles are so red I’m amazed he can see through them. Jeff’s wife is from Manchester. Callum (and James and Georgia) are as Manc as they come.
