Christ you have to love it - A 7-11 in the sweet 16? and thanks to a comeback from 22 points down with 11 minutes left to play.
I'm thinking no-one had Loyola/Texas in their bracket...
And the same night that UNC and Michigan State go out too.
Another pair of brackets of mine (elsewhere) blown...
but actually I don't care! - I'm falling in love with this game all over again.

A rollercoaster of a weekend for my bracket... an disastrous Friday night (loosing UVA), a good Saturday night, and a bad Sunday night.
Still joint 2nd in the WhatsBev group though... and a 93.2% PCT rating. Plus I’ve still got a chance with 5 of the 8 sweet sixteen games, so I guess it’s not going too bad.
I loved the end of the Michigan/Houston game by the way.

So having blown my full brackets I set up some second chance ones for the family...
Did you see that on day 1 of the sweet 16, if you picked the winner based purely on the first named team (ie on the 'upper' name from each pair) you'd have had 4/4 wins last night.
Unfortunately one of my 2nd chance brackets comedy choices was to pick the bottom of the pairs...

My bracket was well and truly busted weeks ago. Although I fancied Michigan before the tourney (and I hope they can pull off a miracle) it's hard to look past Nova in the form they're in. If I were a betting man I'd be inclined to take Michigan with the points - I think their defense will be better than Kansas.

Just to Say a big wow! for the ladies last night. Not going to spoil it for anyone who missed it live -they're showing it again on BT - but both semis (sorry... "final 4") going to overtime, then a buzzer beater to win the whole thing: fantastic. Suspect Sam will be upset that Kobe gets in on the deal tho!
As for the men's tonight - can't really see past Villanova. So given my current predictive abilities, that a Michigan slam dunk win then.
