The many riders fans on here, and indeed supporters of many other BBL sides, will have seen the hard work and massive contribution to the Riders made by the Osmond Family. Oz is " Mr 50/50" raising many thousands of pounds for Riders, and the BBL at their finals, with the 50/50 draw. Lisa, for many years ran the best refreshment stand in the BBL, with the very best pies and hot dogs, while their son, Jack was an assistant kit manager on the bench for several seasons, as well as coaching on junior development sessions, playing, & captaining Riders age group teams.
Jack has now completed his "A" level studies and has he chance to play & study at the prestigious Action Sports Academy in Atlanta USA,where he will receive top level coaching and will develop as a player & person.
To help Jack achieve his lifelong ambition to study and play in the USA a fundraising page has been set up to help cover some of the costs involved.
I'd ask that all riders fans on here, and indeed basketball fans who have seen the contribution made by Jack & his family, take a few moments to consider if they can make a contribution, however small or large, to jacks fund raising page.
There is also a raffle for the chance to win a valuable piece of Boxing memorabilia, a fully authenticated signed and framed boxing glove the the current world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, Tickets are just £5 each, or 5 for £Full details of the signed glove here
Thanks for reading this, & many many thanks in advance to those of you who are able to help. ( Yes I have made a contribution!)

I'm in already and can tell you that similar framed boxing gloves from Joshua have sold for 1k plus in recent fundraising auctions ive attended so buying the raffle tickets could be worthwhile even if you don't want to donate.
Well done Analytical for promoting this

Oz and his wife and Jack have volunteered for Riders for many years. Between them they must have helped raise well over 100k for the club I hope they do reach their target of raising 3k for Jack to help fund his college target - as they deserve it for what they've volunteered for others

As Many of you know Luke Rankin attended the ASA prep school that Jack is hoping to attend. This is what Luke posted on Facebook a few minutes ago "Luke Rankin is with Jack Osmond and 3 others. 1 hr · S/O my guy Jack Osmond he’s a great young talent and an even better person with an opportunity to play for one of the top prep schools in Atlanta, USA “ASA Prep”. Just like him I was once that kid looking for an opportunity and know how hard it is, click the click and support him 🏀🇬🇧✈️🇺🇸 www.gofundme.com/pursuing-my-collegiate-dream "

Just bringing this back to the top of the page.
Donations, however large, or small, are still open.
Lets show we really are a basketball family and help someone fulfil their lifetime ambition.

Message from Jack !To all of my friends and family... over the last few months I have shared this link and I guess many of you have just passed it over with no real idea of what it is about. Over the last 10 years or so I have been working so hard to to achieve a long term dream of playing basketball at a college in the USA along side studying for a university degree. Me and my family have had such a massive involvement in the Leicester Riders and have been a part of the club community for nearly 11 years. It is not often I like to do this but I would like to ask for help to achieve my dream of getting to America. My parents have put savings towards it and I am working hard to earn to contribute as well. if you could all share and take the chance to read the page on go fund me, maybe you can help in some way. Any amount will help no matter how big or small would be really appreciated and mean the world to me. And to the Riders community... we work so hard to make game nights what they are, and its not just what most of you see either. lets see if any of those who are there truly appreciate what my family do or just take it all for granted. I would like to thank all of those who have helped me so far through donations and support alike! I wouldn't be closer to my goal without you all!!! Thank you for taking the time to read this, it means everything to me and I cant wait to get out to America and make it all worth while " If you can donate the link is www.gofundme.com/pursuing-my-collegiate-dream
