Do you think this might lead to new followers of the BBL?

Yes - if the BBL took advantage of the opportunity.
I guess that's a No then...

Gutted - I blinked too soon :-) I have SKY and to be honest would not have bothered investing in League pass if I knew they were going to get some comprehensive coverage. I notice they will also have Hardwood Classic games!
Wonder if I can cancel the League pass.........

Now, That's alot of Basketball ... great if ya a night owl or a bit of an insomniac I bought NBA pass before thinking I would watch early morning games and never did Realistically it's the 9pm and earlier games I will watch on sky. Will make the NBA thread a lot more interesting I imagine with more of us being able to watch NBA games than before

It seems very different from every other UK deal gone before us. They are heavily advertising this, so should be a very comprehensive. The reaction on social media is very positive, 10-15 years ago this would've been frowned upon and the negativity out weighing the positive. Times have definitely shifted for the better, the stereotypes have been almost snuffed out. Now, if only if we could turn heads in the British league and Internationally. Obviously there is a gulf in standard, but presentation can go along way to bridge the gap and increase fan and media exposure.

I have just set mine (Sky Q) for Celtics and it’s come up with series record. Yeah seems to come up now, not sure why it didn’t previously I’m so out of touch with the NBA, only getting back into basketball less than 2 years ago. Must’ve been early 90s when i last watched it regularly, was on satellite tv, seem to recall a late-Saturday night tv highlights programme? Pretty excited with this deal...not sure how much i’ll watch live, but will try to catch highlights as often as possible. Really enjoyed watching the NCAA March madness stuff earlier this year.

I'm being f'cking lazy here, is there Freeview option tonight? No, first live game on Sky Sports Mix is Lakers/Rockets in the early hours of Sunday morning. Loads of NBA programming in hours before it too.

Always felt when it was on sky back in the day series record screwed you over of the last 5 mins. Make sure you record the next programme aswell just to be safe.

Series record on SKY is not as good as the Virgin TIVO I had that gave you multiple options for extending live broadcast recordings.
Out of interest for the first time I can recall (outside of the London game and the winning game of the NBA finals) BBC Radio 5 Live news carried the results and some stats from last nights openers in their main sports bulletin this morning.
Now admittedly it was a quiet sports weekend (i.e. no Premier League!) but even so I was quite surprised......I would have also been quite annoyed if I had plans to watch either game tonight when I got home (I don't because I am a considerate husband.....Oh OK she won't let me!!!).
Still no response to my "complaint" to NBA League Pass :-)

I wonder if BBC are going to pick up some type of highlights package. There were quite a few bits online during pre-season. Either way, can't knock the coverage so far. It is in depth and across multitude of platforms

Good news is they’ve given up on the terrible Give Me Sport deal for the website too (which I always skipped to go to the proper site).
