The British Basketball League are thrilled to have signed an exciting two-year deal with Tokyo Time to be the Official Headwear Partner of the BBL.
A Japanese inspired headwear company based in Liverpool, Tokyo Time promises its customer ‘the best fitting headwear you’ll ever buy’ and has already made a sizeable splash in the industry – despite being relatively new to the market.
The company has inked deals with a range of significant partners, including the likes of Euroleague basketball, American Golf, Gambaru Fightwear UK and the Anfield Wrap (Liverpool FC).
In addition, Tokyo Time have racked up very positive customer feedback on review sites and across social media channels. They are now looking to take their products to a wider audience, including expanding their presence in basketball – both as a professional sport and as a ‘street culture’.
Tokyo Time CEO, Paul Davison is delighted to have signed the agreement, which will cover the current 2018-19 BBL campaign, as well as the 2019-20 season.
He stated: “We believe this partnership is the perfect match, both in terms of quality and culture. This is a great opportunity to elevate the brand and deliver top quality headwear to the sport. We are really excited and look forward to a long successful partnership with the BBL.”
Meanwhile BBL Commercial Director, Bob Hope commented: “Basketball is more than a sport – it is also a cultural, fashion and music lifestyle. So, this partnership with Tokyo Time is going to add some real style to the League. Tokyo Time will be designing a range of headwear for BBL supporters and an exclusive, sought-after ‘Champions Hat’ to be presented to the winners of the three major Finals, the BBL Cup, BBL Trophy, BBL Play-Offs – as well as for the winners of the BBL Championship.”
