Ridicule all you like about the event, however Vince will be on Sky Sports news this morning to talk about the game & hopefully get some words in about the BBL as well. The BBL gets precious little national media attention, so even though this may be a circus event & people may dislike Lavar Ball and his antics, this is a great media opportunity for Lions & the league.

Going to hate myself for this because I cannot for the life of me stand Lavar Ball.....
But I agree completely. The media circus and the attention the prat gets across the planet makes this a real coup for British Basketball as far as I'm concerned.
Any attention we can get globally is good attention at this moment in time.

I agree. Similar to what I said about the British Basketball All Stars Championship (which I personally really enjoy too). I wonder what the crowd will be like this time... last game was on a Bank Holiday Monday and the crowd was very big, probably about the same as the British Basketball All Stars Championship (which has the advantage of pulling in fans of 8 teams).

Just seen London have a game on the Sunday as well in BBL. Strange choice to play day before- may backfire on them league wise

Can’t see it being a problem. I'd imagine Manchester are using it as a big motivation as London must be expecting to walk over the game against them?

Haven't seen any evidence of that. It's just a back to back game - fairly common I would've said.

Scoreline suggests a fun night out without a lot of D, just as expected. How many did they manage to get through the door, was it as popular as last year?
