Good Luck Rocks - I fancy them to squeak this.... Interesting contrast in opinions. I've pretty much written this game(s) off.

Giants win by a few points due to home court advantage. Rocks could then take it on aggregate at their home in Jan Either way, its along time to wait for an outcome

Did not expect Rocks to have an 8 pt lead at HT. Some of the reffing might have played a part in that... 😏

That's because he missed so many shots!! If Rocks manage to restrict Clayton to 13 points in the return leg they should have enough to complete the win. Clayton is a machine around the basket but if a team has enough big men to defend him very hard & hit him hard, he's going to struggle as his FT shooting is so poor.

I have always said best way for the Phoenix ( given we weren't strong defending the paint) to combat Clayton was to foul him. He was 70%+ under the basket and 40% from the free throw. Wonder how the two new/ old signings will combat Big Willie!!

Allow me to revive this thread following the longest wait for the result of a Semi Final ever… Second leg is this Sunday, and the score 5 weeks ago was Giants 77 – 85 Rocks. So Rocks go into this game with a 8 point advantage. Winner plays Lions in the Cup Final on 27/01. What do you all think? I suspect the 8 point advantage might be what helps Rocks win this, but Manchester have been impressive this season and Rocks not so much. So who knows!
