Allow me to revive this thread following the longest wait for the result of a Semi Final ever… Second leg is this Sunday, and the score 5 weeks ago was Giants 77 – 85 Rocks. So Rocks go into this game with a 8 point advantage. Winner plays Lions in the Cup Final on 27/01. What do you all think? I suspect the 8 point advantage might be what helps Rocks win this, but Manchester have been impressive this season and Rocks not so much. So who knows! hahaha, it's been that long I clean forgot about this!

All we had to do in the second leg was not lose by more than 15 at home. We never managed that and went out. I'm not too confident that the Rocks will go through but when they do they will win the final.

Giants are playing well recently, but then again so have Rocks. 8 points is nothing really and its still too close to call.
Good luck to both teams

We still look tactically very suspect. Giants will go at us and i'm concerned we'll crumple.
Win and we get a final. Lose and the Rocks fans get another reason to get angry. What's not to love?!

Pryor being back should give us some more control at the point guard. I have no idea!!

I think Giants will be full of confidence they can overcome Rocks after their recent games. Should be a cracking game.

I go for one team to be 2/3 points down on aggregate get a lucky break and tie game then pull away in overtime, why not its not as though they have done it before this season..........or maybe? 🤔

Rocks are winning 20-16 at the end of the first. There’s no way the Rocks aren’t making the final now.

This may have been mentioned previously. Whatever happened to Barry Webster?

Great win to get into the final with. Achara had an amazing game. Hopefully he keeps playing like that for the rest of the season.

Congratulations Rocks ... good luck in the final Yep I guess the coach will keep his job for the season as well now Wasn't long ago we thought he was on the way out Achara playing better without the captaincy?

That's because he missed so many shots!! If Rocks manage to restrict Clayton to 13 points in the return leg they should have enough to complete the win. Clayton is a machine around the basket but if a team has enough big men to defend him very hard & hit him hard, he's going to struggle as his FT shooting is so poor. Hmm, Clayton didn't impress me that much. No match for Big Al and Achara.

Clayton was completely outplayed. Achara came to play. Great win and rocks conbasketball kited it from the start to the end. Easily could have gone up the gears. Great boost the last two wins. Shut giants down, gave them zero space.
Bring on lions

Conbasketball kited the game start to finish.
Would have been a bigger margin if it wasn’t for taking the foot off the gas in the last few minutes.

There must be something about the way the Rocks play that we struggle against because they are the only team I have seen us really struggle against, but it's been 3 times now.
Let's hope they stay where they are in the league.

Honestly think clayton just doesnt know how to play against the experience of achara. Achara not only had him in his pocket but carrying his bags to the car.
In fairness giants weren't able to hit anything! Some decent looks to. What worked was how we defended the rebounding threat. Ive never seen ali and kieron box out like that
