Levke Brodersen (Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters)The German guard was superb for Hatters against Eagles and that bodes well for Sheffield’s trip to the WBBL Cup Final later this month. Brodersen pulled the strings expertly to help torch Newcastle, claiming a fine 27 points, 8 assists, 2 steals and her first ever AS5 slot. Tia Freeman (Oaklands Wolves)It was a vibrant win for Oaklands against Nottingham Wildcats and it was Freeman who proved to be the driving force. She grabbed a debut slot in our fab five after producing a dazzling display that garnered 24 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Samantha Roscoe (Manchester Mystics)It’s consecutive appearances in our starting five for the Mystics’ star whose rich vein of form extended to their clash against Cardiff. Roscoe went to work against Archers to harvest 28 points (63% shooting), 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Sarah Toeaina (Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters)It continues to be a classy first season in the WBBL for Toeaina, whose do-it-all style makes her a handful for any defence. She cut down the Eagles with 21 points, 6 assists and 4 steals – as well as drawing more fouls than anyone in the game. Harriet Ottewill-Soulsby (Durham Palatinates)It was a much-needed win for Durham against fellow strugglers Essex Rebels and Ottewill-Soulsby was the difference-maker. Her debut berth in our five came via a productive 23 points, 9 boards, 4 assists and 3 steals. Off the bench – Janice Monakana (Sevenoaks Suns), Tia Weledji (Caledonia Pride), Chelsey Shumpert (Nottingham Wildcats), Jorjah Smith (Manchester Mystics), Kalina Axentieva (Newcastle Eagles) Jessy Ward (Durham Palatinates), Kristie Velazquez (BA London Lions).
