I missed the game tonight (opted for a night of culture instead) and it proved the right decision. I wasn’t there, and Manchester are playing well, but really?.......
Fletch scores 20 odd and 13 assists and we lose......
Jamal Williams 2/11 from behind the line. Hmmmmmmm. Got to question the coaching that lets him keep firing if he hasn’t the IQ to work out it’s not his night.......
So, Eagles for the play-offs? - because it’s all we have left to go for!
And time to start planning for next season,, perhaps.

Giants had 23 turnovers and we still lost heavily. Saw local league players hit more 3 pointers in a game this week than Jamal. 🙄

The boy granic couldnt hit anything last week against us and look at his numbers this week. We seem to match uo good against giants when nearly every ither team can't.

Giants by 20, Eagles are crap this season Hahahaha you weren't far off! People in glass houses though ey, we lost by even more when we played them. In fairness their league position does them no justice from what I've seen of them. |

Eagles have shown time and time again last few seasons they simply cannot cope when they get a key injury
It used to be when defoe got injured they started losing everything
Good teams still win games with key players out as they don't rely on the individual performance so much
It's very noticeable to me and it's why I write them off at start of season even when they win looking great
As you know injuries will come and bite them
What was the crowd like for the second game in there?

The league is bunching up nicely. Sharks and Eagles appear to be sitting pretty but aren't. Rocks and Phoenix appear to be out of it but aren't. Who could predict anything this season?

Arena is still brilliant, parking better, good crowd in tonight, well organised.
Only teething problem now is the quality of basketball. Next stop, the playoffs.
