Good discussion about the cup final... whats in rocks favour is hoe much better we have looked since we've signed tadas whos throwing in an extra 10points plus the resurgence of ali and kieron i dont think you can look at the previous encounters this season. Both have just dominated 2 league leading bigs. It'll come down to how we play tabb. I'd put bouna or kenny on him as i think he would be too quick for murray
That said last season lions sbasketball kited over us in the playoffs with their preperation and in my opinion won the game in the warm up.

Looking forward to listening to this tomorrow. As a starter for 10,Justin Robinson the best point guard. Take him out of the Lions organisation and they'd be significantly weaker.

Good discussion about the cup final... Agreed. Although makes you wonder what they'll talk about next week (the week before the final) as they seem to have covered just about everything this week!

The BBC deal, the poor form of Flyers or Sharks (Depends who wins this weekend!), Royals home form (if they beat Wolves), the trophy quarters...

Oh don’t get me wrong, there’s still plenty to talk about and I look forward to downloading it, I was just expecting some talk and predictions about the Cup final next week (being a few days before the game itself), but I feel that’s been covered now!

Can a resurgent Rocks win the cup? (00:52)
1 win in ten finals. Sounds like we're due another bottle job. They *have* been improving recently so who knows.
Why are the Riders not as clinical as they used to be? (06:59)
Possibly because keeping a core every year only works if you continually evolve and continually improve. The core of the team seem pretty uninspiring by Riders standards and i'm unsure about the buy-in from the imports. No harm to them but Washington and Anderson don't seem like the top level Brits needed to drive Riders forward. They're not on the same level as a Justin Robinson, A Kieron Achara, an Ash Hamilton etc It's also easy to cite the lack of a Bernardini or Sullivan to act as the influential adult.
That said, I still expect Riders to do well. While it can often be pinpoint what Riders are good at, they're known for being extremely tenacious and consistent. I think the close wins and weak performances sort of prove that in a backhanded way. They win games that other teams lose because of their work ethic, regardless of the quality of their execution.
Who’s the best PG in the BBL? (13:28)
Still think it's Robinson because of what he brings to the Lions as a whole. However I enjoyed hearing the alternative view that Taylor is no1. Liked the thoughts on Wilcher. He's always a player I enjoy watching and he's a good disher of the ball, but he's been a bit too loose with the ball sometimes in the past.
Why is Cheshire so inconsistent? (20:03)
I dunno, but long may it continue. They represent the Rocks best chance of making the playoffs (assuming we can overhaul the Giants)
On paper are the Royals the best roster in the league? (26:21)
I want to argue with this but I don't have a compelling counter-argument. One of the reasons it's difficult to argue is because they have so many players, and i'm not 100% sure what their current roster is. There are plenty of teams with good starting fives. You could argue Royals are deeper and therefore the best. I dunno.

It's what he brings to the organisation rather than just his skill at his particular position on the court. Bernardini brung leadership. Robinson brings a tactical awareness that Lions don't have without him.

The one sentence in that podcast that intrigued me was the "Cheshire need a point guard that doesn't want to score" Interesting that, Norl is doing a good job taking over the gap left by Khan but he is essentially a SG and does like to score as SG 's are supposed to do. Comments have been made about Gettys not being as dominant this year as last, is that because we needed a 'Sanderval' to put the ball exactly where CJ wants it?l

Can't seem to get this to work, website non of the buttons work to play, doesn't appear on my podcast app either I had issues playing/downloading it on my Android phone (worked fine on my iPhone though). But it worked via the Player FM website. So Google ‘Makem Takem Player FM’ and you should get a link that works.
