What changes would you make to your team?
Will start this off with my team the Newcastle Eagles.
Would get rid of Jamal Williams, offers nothing really to the team and is actually a hindrance more than anything. When he was on the bench last night and we were subbing him in I was like please don’t bring him on.
Then I would get rid of either Jeremy Smith or Kyle Williams. Both I think are talented and have had some great moments for the team but also had games where they have been really quiet. Would probably say it would be easier to get rid of Smith as he holds a work permit spot so probably easier to find another of those and we need another big. We were not so strong in that area anyway but at least had Moses and Dafoe. Now with Moses out injured and I heard is going to be out for some time and then Darius having an off night last night we were really weak in that area and it showed on the boards and taking so many threes.
Now if we are going have any chance of winning games Dafoe is going to need to get at least 20 and 10 every night whilst Moses is out, if not more and is that possible I don’t think so. We have no inside presence right now, why isn’t that being fixed. So many guards but not enough bigs, surely we can afford to get rid of at least one guard and then bring in another big.
How many more performances like this do we need to see before something happens.
I don’t think we will see any changes unfortunately but I hope am wrong, more wrong than I have ever been, Please!

For the first time in a long time I wouldn't change anyone. I'd like to have Plymouth player in the squad but there isn't a local player good enough really

Gonna be dangerous over the second half of the season and in the playoffs.

Bring in a couple of new players (preferably bigs) Make our players immune to injury for the 9 months that they play for us Win every home game (even if we have to bribe the ref's) Other than that, at this moment in time ... I'm OK with the setup at Eagles

Ward-Hibbert to be given more playing time.
Be tougher on rebounding at both ends of the court - too many teams show us up atm. Just being hungrier and more competitive would yield results. Ward-Hibbert showed that last night with his energy.
Start with our best 5 rather than with bench players as we do currently.

I would do nothing to the Rocks. Until we get beat again. Then I want them all sacked and replaced with fans. I think everyone has to take a bit of blame for the Rocks' situation, so it's hard to change any one thing and expect a huge difference.

Not necessarily making changes to the team (obviously we need significant ones) but I would get our own arena!
**** the Emirates!

Actually get Eagles to pass the ball to Eddie when he's wide open would help & teach Jeremy to pass the ball too.

Actually get Eagles to pass the ball to Eddie when he's wide open would help & teach Jeremy to pass the ball too. Both of these points really wind me up. Eddie has proven time and time again that he can get himself open off the ball and sink the shot, why he never gets the ball is way beyond me. Also, If Jeremy hadn't tried playing hero ball in the last 5 minutes of our game against Plymouth we could have actually won it. 3 or 4 times he brought the ball down the floor, drove toward the basket into 2-3 players and still tried going for the score, exact same play every time and it wound me up something crazy.

The powers that be are ignoring me. Rocks or Glasgow Life (and that's an oxymoron) Mainly the Emirates. Dan gave me the relevant contact info but Duncan hasn't had anything to do with it. One imagines Duncan would have had the pulling power to get it sorted if he got involved...

Question to Eagles fans. Has Fab done anything in the last 3 years to suggest to you that he has an actual coherent plan to bring back the glory days
Is it not just down to a few key players each game to either deliver or fail?
Where is the progression?
You've actually gone backwards each year lately
In this thread youve got the power to replace Fab
What do you do?

Give him more time (minimum 3 years) ... and ... more money (to assemble a better squad) ... simples IRF ... Don't fret about Fab or Eagles ... we'll be fine !! This is my 2nd post on this thread ... I've made most thoughts heard and won't comment on it any further !! (unless I have too )

The eagles team that won the slam would win this league imo. Backwards no doubt that’s not to say other teams havnt improved. Lions massive strides forward.

Does Fab have am actual coherent plan. It's like it's just re-invent each year and no progress. And certainly no development of players.

The eagles team that won the slam would win this league imo. Backwards no doubt that’s not to say other teams havnt improved. Lions massive strides forward. Not so sure. The riders team that year wasn't great and only lost about 1 league game more than eagles. I've said more than once that was an incredibly weak league that season for that riders team to lose so few games. Yes eagles had by far the best individual players but they were a shallow squad Lions this season are looking strong. They don't look like losing many games and that's in a much more competitive league. There's no definite easy wins this season.yet lions seem to be winning games easily. And even though riders arent playing great it's a deep experienced squad we have and stronger than that squad back then Nothing Fab has done since I've watched BBL suggests to me he has a plan other than to try and have the best individuals play well and win him stuff The amount of games Charles Smith used to win with his 3 pointers near the end back then I'm over simplifying it no doubt but like I say where is the development of players etc at eagles? And is it quite simply the 4th rebuild in a row coming at the end of the season? If eagles fans were being honest I doubt they see any progress made in the last 3 years. And heading for worst finish in the league by some way this season I reckon Was just wondering if any were brave enough to hold Fab to account 2 seasons ago on eagles wesbite even then they said Fab needs to look at his own situation and won't be happy with how he's done. He's just repeated the same since then IMO

If I had the power I would get rid of the arrow and bring back the jump ball. I have taken your question totally out of context but I'm on a crusade :-)

I can't think of manu at All that didn't spend a considerable amount of time away from the.club
