Tuck joins our number of injured players.
Tuck broke his hand in our last game and will be out for 6 - 8 weeks.
He joins a list of shark injuries this season;
Sedale - dislocated shoulder, back playing. Smith - concussion, left the team/basketball Tuck - broken hand, out for up to 8 weeks.
This must be the longest runs of injuries (different) that I have known the sharks to have. Add that we have lost another who has gone home for family reasons and this as got to be a really bad season for us.
When's its rained on your team, what's been the worse?
* not including all the little bumps and bruises that players might carry, requiring the odd, 2 or 3, 4 ice packs.

3 players fully fit
Brent Benson stood in a corner cause he couldn't walk so he literally just sniping in a corner
Josh wilcher was being sick and having to call time outs and when he was going to sick!!

I'd say our worst injury was the last 6 years of the Bob Widdicombe era

Got pissed

We binned a coach only for the new one to get binned for... Err... "personal reasons" that I'm sure didn't involve money or anything. We then promoted his assistant who may well be presiding over the worst season we've had since God knows when. Oh, and there's no guarantee he'll be there next season either.

Im glad you asked.....
Joined a team to help a mate who'd just got the head coach job with a promise from the owners of three americans and two Europeans. Got to the first game in Surrey minus three americans and two Europeans and a bunch of lads who, aside of me and one or two others, hadn't played out of D4. It just so happened this was one of the better Surrey teams and I was the only player to get in double figures with a meagre 12. Needless to say what happened. Americans didn't arrive, ever, but a couple of Europeans did, including a big man from Asvel in France - who left after one game having thrown a ceramic cup at the owner during a meeting in his hotel owing to said owner not wanting to pay the fellas wages as agreed - he thought he'd get him over here and hold him hostage. It summed up our season entirely that the ceramic cup managed to miss by a good five feet and cause damage to the hotel that had to be paid for by the target of the cup. Promise of a Turkish import coming in who would change our season around - hailed as a (very) poor mans Turkoglu by the coaching team. He turns up, hadn't a clue what "out of bounds" meant, couldn't do literally anything on a basketball court and we chalked it up as someone our coach had won free with a kebab after a night out. Team has a car crash of a season on court that I wont go into. Coach goes without payment for months. Players go without payment for months. Players go missing every few weeks when rumours of drug testers at the games start to circulate. I end up basically taking the piss most of the season (and still got offers to stay in the league the season after somehow!!!!) and amongst other things managed to get through about 70% of a training session without pants on in protest at the owners refusal to pay extra for them to turn the heating on at practice before getting kicked out when owners wife shows up.
Trust me, I'm not even scratching the surface. You don't know how good you've got it.

Darryls tenure has been a total disaster. I take it by the time we get in a proper head coach Murray and Achara will be retired and it'll be a bit a of a torrid time trying to replace them.
