Hi guys, as promised here is my survey. It can be done on mobiles so I hope that helps out. If you have any questions mine and my supervisors email address is on the front page of the survey. I'm aiming for at least 80 responses league wide so any help is really appreciated. I know you must be surveyed out by now but I have approval and will let you guys know the results of the survey. If any of you could forward this into facebook groups (I've managed to get approval to do it in Worcester, Cheshire and London) that would be amazing. London and Cheshire have FB groups? London lions certainly do and having communicated with Cheshire they have said they will distribute through social media so whether that is public or closed I'm not sure  |

So my Dissertation followed 3 key areas: The viewing experience, Star players and Threat of substitute activities. The retention of players/ star players jumped out as a major factor in fan attendance. They made a point of showing that over a season they develop relationships with them only to never see or hear of them again really. The other major point would be the evidence of a strong threat from not only other sports but competing leisure activities, both results showed about 33% of what we would think are the more hardcore fans would still chose another leisure activity. Finally with the viewing experience it was really a mixed bag which I think we can all understand by the differing standards of the arenas in the league Anymore questions i'll be glad to answer! |
