Downloaded ... will listen to later Quick answers :- What impact with Garbelotto have in Worcester? (00:34) ...Too early to say, possible outside chance of making playoffs (doubtful) ... next season (if he stays) , who knows !! How high can Rocks finish? (07:38) ...Top 6 (possibly) ... top 8 (likely) ... top 12 (definitely) How desperate is the situation in Sheffield (14:03) ...Shark fans would say ... " crisis ?, what crises ? ... Its just another typical year for us " How critical is Moses to Eagles Playoff hopes? (19:52) ...He will help us to 4/5/6 in league ... but him and Fletch alone cannot win us the Playoffs !! ... Glad to be proven wrong !! Is the standard of NBL Div 1 getting better again? (24:27) ...That would be an ecumenical question, and I defer to Mr Ryan Will comment more after I've listen to the Podcast

Great Podcast, spot on with your analysis of the TG situation at Wolves. He is very respected and just look at what happened in Manchester.

Another great podcast. I think Garbolotto and Wolves could be a really good match too, and I’d be surprised if he isn’t seeing it as a potential audition for next year. I also agree with how key Moses is to us this season. (I’m hoping we can keep him, Fletcher and Defoe together next year too.)
On the NBL topic, from my limited view it looks like a number of clubs have made positive steps, which helps the league overall. (For example, I couldn’t imagine the likes of Trayvonn dropping down 2-3 years ago.) While giving credit for that, I totally agree with the comments about the league’s split focus, as I’ve said in some of the previous ‘BBL2’ discussions on here. The NBL is trying to be ‘jack of all trades’ to a constituency that’s just too diverse in their ambitions, which means too often clubs aren’t getting the support/environment they need to progress their individual goals.

On the Tony Garbolotto at Wolves discussion, I know his firing and exit from Scotland Basketball, England Basketball, and Glasgow Rocks remains unknow to the public, but do you think Wolves know the reason behind it? In the podcast it’s suggested they won’t care about it and will simply want to focus on what he can do in the future, but surely if you’re employing him you’d want to know what really went down. It would be foolish not to want to know before offering him the position.

If they're not offering him any sort of opportunity to claim expenses then they might not see it as an issue...

What impact with Garbelotto have in Worcester? (00:34)
He might instil some discipline into them. However, they look rotten to the core and it's probably too late to do anything now. It's pretty clear some of them couldn't give a flying **** and it's hard to pull that back.
How high can Rocks finish? (07:38)
Might make the playoffs. Anywhere between 5th and 10th - the quality of those teams seems broadly similar. 2NFRs excellent graphic (see league table thread) shows that most of their damage was done in the early weeks of the season. Since then form has been good enough to get a play-off place.
How desperate is the situation in Sheffield (14:03)
It's particularly desperate now that they can't rely on 3-4 teams being worse. We seen what the loss of Tuck done last season.
How critical is Moses to Eagles Playoff hopes? (19:52)
Leaving the importance of his position out of it, he's critical because he seems to be more consistent than most of their other plays. They need bodies firing on all cylinders and he's able to do that regularly.
Is the standard of NBL Div 1 getting better again? (24:27)
It's beyond my knowledge to answer this with any sort of authority. There have been quite a few high profile signings. I'm not sure that in itself is evidence of an overall quality increase but it does seem encouraging.

If they're not offering him any sort of opportunity to claim expenses then they might not see it as an issue... Oh I understand. Well if that's the case, and Wolves are aware, then I can understand them being happy to focus on the future more than if he had be caught having a sordid affair with Rocky the mascot or something of the like. For what it's worth, I think its good news for Wolves, I can see Tony G improving their current status (not that it can get much worse).

Hopefully Wolves keep a copy of all his receipts.
