Great player. Great signing and unlike the incredibly talented Burnett he is perfect for the Riders way of playing as a team.
That's definitely improved us as a team
Burnett would be a great signing for a BBL club that needs someone to win them games individually and doesn't have depth or many other options. Yes he has turnovers but he scores points others can't even think about attempting.

Is this a case of hitting the panic button I wonder.

Is this a case of hitting the panic button I wonder. I don't think so It's definite improvement. We never wanted Clark to leave but the offer he got in Europe after his first season with us was too good for him to turn down This is a definite top quality proven signing for us compared to a talented player who weve found hard to fit into our style of play who's currently wearing a metal boot Panic would be signing an unknown point guard short term. This guys makes us a stronger team even if Burnett wasn't injured. Can't see Burnett coming back to Riders and we finish the season stronger than weve been uptil now. We only need one lions loss for the league to be back in our own hands

Wow do you think we still run the same plays!!
Unfortunately for him we were already playing better with burnett so this can only improve us further

Bearing in mind Burnett wasn't even playing lately

Looking forward to those bullet passes from one end of the court to the other
He was Riders MVP the only season he played for us. We won a treble. And the second half of the season once he'd adjusted to this league and our system he was awesome for us.
Can't be any further away from a panic signing tbf.

But is it 'lazy recruitment'?! 🤔🤔🤔

But is it 'lazy recruitment'?! 🤔🤔🤔 For sure Always the best kind! But also good to see Riders react so quickly to an injury - so in those terms it's far from lazy!

I'm delighted also to see Brandon back.
Only slight concern about what he's been doing up until now this season, anybody know?

Brandon was excellent the season he was with Riders, it's a great signing. Rob certainly has pressed the panic button in the last 2 weeks but he needed to.

If yer in the **** why would you not press the panic button? He's decisive, if nothing else.

Basically, it was s**t or bust as far as I could see so kudos to the coach and Riders generally. I for one am not complaining especially after Williams' display today. Showed some pretty nimble footwork under the hoop. His points total doesn't lie. Martin was doing well and I liked him but it seems as if that decision is paying dividends.

Roster looks a lot more potent now than it did 2/3 months ago to be fair.
I think of everyone he's brought back - this could turn out to be the smartest. He needed a point guard, and the best one he's had in a number of years is able to come back and walk in knowing the system/his role/whats expected.
Now they've got a big fella they seem to finally be getting some productivity out of - as well as digging out difficult results (Plymouth away is not the controversy riddled conflict zone it has been these past few years - it is not easy to get a result down there) - they're smack bang back in the race.
