Whoever wins that gets the H2H. It's obviously in our hands to win that game which means if lions lose one game more than us between now and the end of the season it's in our hands come that last game of the season.

Riders must have found the magic money tree this season. 😁 Must have cost a fortune for all the flights from to USA.

Have Riders found a secret way of getting in Americans quickly. They have had a few this season, so what is their secret formula. How quick was Clarke got in?

As soon as Burnette didnt show on Friday night I thought something was afoot ( 😂). Glad to see Clark back though , his skill set is far more in -keeping with our style of play imo.

Burnett was there on Friday night, and his boot was off, during warm up he was out on court with the team but in sneakers on the three point line.

My initial reaction to this was that Burnett's 'injury' was probably a smoke screen and we'd simply made the decision to tweak things here... again. But if he is in a boot and looking at a fairly lengthy spell on the sidelines then fair enough. I believe I'm right in thinking it was a foot injury that forced him out for a few games when we were still in Europe so perhaps this has been an ongoing problem for the guy all season.
Clark is certainly a more well rounded guard. Whilst one or two others seemed to get more of the plaudits (from fans at least) he was definitely our MVP for me back in 2016/17 and provided he's fit, should be a rock solid bet to do well again. It's possible that this change improves us but there is a part of me that's disappointed to see Burnett go. He wasn't a brilliant pure PG but I don't think we should ever have expected him to be. It's worth remembering that he was brought in to replace a wing and his college numbers strongly suggested combo guard. At times, he looked like being a very good one in this league. In fact, as dreadful a result as it was, he was far and away our most impressive performer in what turned out to be his final appearance for the club.
Given the plethora of alternatives we have at PG, I really think we ought to have been able to make this work better than it has. But I guess it doesn't matter now. Be interesting to see where he goes next. Talk of him being bound for big things after two or three games was obviously very premature but I wouldn't be too surprised to see him land in a slightly better league than this next season and succeed.

I'm with Steven on Clark, I thought he was MVP for Riders that season, an excellent PG in our league. Of course, if that's really what Riders need is a different point, yes he's better than Connor but Connor has shown again that without Burnett hugging the ball he is a good starting BBL PG. A fit Burnett with Connor playing the PG spot is probably a better balance to the team but Clark will oertainly make the team even more difficult to beat.

I saw him with the boot on at the Manchester home game on the previous Saturday but saw no sign of him warming up OR sitting on the bench during the game last Friday against Cheshire which made me think he'd flown.......

Who are Lions going to lose 2? 🤔 Rocks away next league match for Lions I’m not saying Lions will complete the remainder of the season without any further loses, equally I’m not saying Riders will either, but what makes you think Lions will lose to Rocks in the next league fixture? Lions fairly comfortably beat Rocks in the Cup Final a few weeks ago. Or is it just wishful thinking on your behalf?

Plus, they no longer play Rocks this week. Phoenix vs Lions this Sunday - the fixtures all changed a couple of weeks ago. Rocks now play Royals.
So Lions next loss will be away at Phoneix this Sunday...........hopefully!

Lions have to play the following teams away from home
Eagles Rocks Raiders Royals
I'm hoping one or more of those games are banana skin games
Obviously we have to win our games though
At least we are 2 games ahead of lions in the schedule

It’s the night before the Trophy Final in Glasgow… and it’s looking very likely the Lions will be in that, and quite possible the Royals will be too. It’ll need to happen at some point though.

I think the next Rocks/Lions game will be a lot closer than that final.
