So we all know that Fab spent last summer working for the Raptors summer league team. We all knew Nick nurse wasnt allowed to hire assistant coaching staff last year but can this. Fab is as of right now working with Jeremy Lin in Toronto. Newcastle have their new arena, only possible thing left to do over here is coach in Europe but will he leave and join the NBA this summer

Pointless thread really Fab will probably move on after a few more sweeps and possibly a Eurocup (or two) ...So basically, Eagles are stuck with him for now ... which is fine by me

I would be over the moon for Fab if he got an Assistant position in the NBA.
I think it would also be a good way to give the Eagles play style a shake up which we know has been needed for a while.

For my own selfish reasons and for the good of the British game - I hope not.
For the progression of his career and success he deserves - I really hope he does get a shot in the NBA.
Either which way - the guy goes down as one of the very best (players and coaches I guess) the BBL has ever seen. We've been lucky to have him.

I guarantee he will always be a huge advocate for the league though and I know he will continue that even if he does end up in the NBA.

If and when he leaves BBL it would be nice for him to leave on a high. If it's this year that means winning the playoffs

But this season he has lead us into a new era as we moved into our own arena. He would be leaving on a high with or without a piece of silverware IMO.

I'd love to see him go to the NBA too. I'd like to think we're capable of producing players/coaches who can go on and perform at a higher (highest?) level. I also agree that he'd be a great advocate for the BBL no matter where he went.
