Not sure if its the same as it was a few years ago but its a very well run and friendly event.
An ex-teammate of mine Jason Swaine had a team a few years ago with Todd Cauthorn, Richard Windle and Garnet Gayle among others. That team would still do well in the NBL now!!!!

Well I sincerely hope to avoid such teams!! I also hope there is plenty of beer to dull the pain........

Did you play Herman and how did you get on if you did? I had great weekend. Lost 2 and won 2. Great Friday and Saturday night too. Brilliant to meet up with so many veteran players still doing the business on and off the court. Even better it moves to Newcastle next year apparently!

Yeah, played, 1&1 Saturday, 2&0 Sunday- enjoyed the games- particularly enjoyed watching Cinzano Crystal Palace - playing 60+ Dan and Dave Lloyd, Paul Stimpson, Ken Walton- Alton Byrd next year in Newcastle allegedly. Always meet lots of old friends there. Pollycamp course runs parallel so some spotty refereeing at times, but they were there to get better and were well mentored. Overall, a great weekend. Well worth a visit.

What age category were you in? The refereeing was fair but certainly letting us play......I.e. it was pretty brutal at times! Still overall mainly nobody seemed too bothered. It was out first time and we were over 40s Div D. Standard was tough in our Saturday group and all 3 teams went on to be 2-0 second day.
Looking forward to next year in Newcastle. Would whole heartedly recommend to anyone who is eligible and capable!
