No big surprise. I wish him all the best and hope he continues well with his recovery. I suspect this was done to allow Wolves to start formal negotiations with Tony Garbelotto for next season?

You’d think the recruits process might change a bit. I feel sorry for Ty though he walked into a mess that was doomed to fail. I hope he didn’t get judged on what happen at Wolves.
If Garboletto dies take the role there are a few things I’d wonder about
Did he apply last year?
Is it an admission from the powers that be that they really ducked up last summer
Does it mean they actually value the BBL team

Third word in para 2 is quite ironic I can't see Tony taking the job if it has the same description as Shaw's. He's not going to organise social basketball sessions. Neither is he going to faff around with a 3 month recruitment process unless they start it now and give him the green light to start recruiting players "on behalf of the new coach". That would be a massive change from last year, I can't see that happening

Would Garbelotto pass the due diligence vetting a university would have in place before making appointments?
There are still a lot of unanswered questions concerning his dismissal/resignation from the GB/Scotland & Glasgow roles last season.

A person could fail "due diligence" for many reasons, as I'm sure you are well aware.

He's passed enough due dilligence to be currently doing the job

It's clearly his fault as they had the world's best basketball brain signing the players!!

I know full well what happened - I'm not the one pointing the finger.
I'm just intrigued as to why a man currently in an interim role would be unsuitable for a full time role based on failure of "due diligence"? Especially when Hardwood's reasoning is based purely on hearsay and rumour.

The lack of a statement in such situations always heightens rumour.
You comment regarding why he should be able to have an interim role and not a full time role is valid.
Could it be a case that his face didn’t fit and he was treated unfairly?

Anyone want to share what 'allegedly' went on for those not in the know?

Anyone want to share what 'allegedly' went on for those not in the know? Those that don't know speculate....those that do know say nothing......as it always will be. If someone who knows tells, that'll be the last thing they get to know. Me, I don't know anything, at least that's my excuse.

Anyone want to share what 'allegedly' went on for those not in the know? Rode a goat naked through Glasgow with a cone on his head akin to the equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington whilst screaming "RUTH DAVIDSON'S GOT NOTHING ON STURGEON!!!!", after downing 6 pints of absinthe.
Portrayed a very bad image for the club.

I’d doff my cap to anyone who downed 1 pint of absinthe and lived to tell the tale.

Aye, that was a great night that was on your brothers stag do. However, you did promise the goats owner that nothing further would be said about it. Or am I mixing that up with the night Mersey Tigers played up there a few years ago?
