I don’t think anything would surprise me at the Rocks after this season.
Surely the coach has to be a long term appointment and he must be leading recruitment?

Downloaded, will listen to it tomorrow ... keep them coming quick answers: ref Giants ... too early to say ... 7/8/9 look really tight at the moment ref Royals ... Lions and Riders (no), Sharks (possibly) ref Rocks ... French berets and a strong smell of Garlic Ref Raiders ... see giants above

Enjoyed this again guys - thanks for doing this. My quick thoughts: 1) Not a lock - but I'd be surprised if they missed out 2) Not all three (!) 3) Who knows ? But something similar I'd guess.. 4) Raiders won't make it particularly given their two wins have "only" been against Surrey

Are the Giants a lock-in for the Playoffs? (00:42)
No. I think we're getting carried away *slightly* because the perennial underdogs aren't poor anymore. They've a good chance, but not much more/less than Phoenix, Sharks, Rocks or Flyers.
How many of their three games will Royals win this week? (07:44)
2 of 3. Having lost to Lions already it's a bit unfair of me to answer this!
What will Rocks look like next season? (17:25)
Mediocre performances and deluded fans (I include myself in that). Having won nothing since 2003 I remain unconvinced that anything will change. It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that because we get good crowds, play in a good arena, and are generally a well-run club that we're somehow deserving of success. It'll be interesting to see if Ali Fraser sticks around. Theoretically he should become the talisman now that Achara is retiring.
Are Raiders now big outsiders for the Playoffs? (23:48) Yeah. While there are 6 clubs in the mix for 4 places, I think the extra losses Raiders have will be crucial. All 6 will take points from each other, meaning there won't be a lot of wiggle room. If the Rocks can take something from either Lions or Royals over the next week then Raiders will further suffer. If not, it gives them a bit of hope.

I suppose you've got to be positive and aim as high as you can. Their records against the Lions and Royals suggest they're not really in that quality bracket.
