Royals could have done with watching the Lions v Eagles game a few weeks back for a lesson in how to protect a lead and close out a game.

I’ve been watching Royals a fair bit this season and, even in some of their home wins, they’ve surrendered big second half leads to win by fine margins. Really, really need to address this ahead of their maiden PO campaign.

Not sure what the issue is but, against Raiders for example, there is clear evidence of tactical nativity or complacency at crucial moments. They got away with it at Sheffield last night - a more potent side would have punished them.

Either way, can’t deny it was a hell of a first half showing and that has to be the foundation on which to build. They have their critics on here but LCR are anything but boring to watch. Intrigued to see how they recover in time for the Rocks showdown tonight.
