Hadn’t seen the Flyers Eggs, but the Bristol City version has been getting a lot of negative publicity.
Not good imho.
Been a few poor decisions / mistakes over the last 2 seasons on the football side, mainly around season tickets for kids and disabled season tickets. This season’s football announcement seemed to be very sensible and then they do something like this. My son’s football season ticket last season went from £50 (inc free home shirt....great value) to £235. He did jump an age group so should’ve been £99 (no shirt), which is still good value. Media backlash and they backed down to £150. Disabled parking was a similar eff-up, again relented following media backlash.
On the flip side the Flyers season tickets have seen no stupid price increases.
But the eggs are certainly not a “cracking” idea. Embarrassing imho.

Great idea terrible execution. As a child, if my mum and dad had given me a raiders Easter egg I would've thought it the best one I had (even if it was crap chocolate. Buying some from Tesco and adding a sleeve and a 700% price increase is just moronic. You could buy plain generic ones (this is the first link on google) www.redbows.co.uk/30geastereggsinabox add a sleeve and charge £7 . Youd make a good profit and there would be no media backlash. Good idea but they've definitely been left with egg on their face |

As I said, Flyers pricing has been very good....it’s the football side that had a common-sense bypass. |
