Are the London Lions choking? (00:50) Is it a case of Flyers or Phoenix for the last Playoff place? (09:00) Will it be Rocks or Royals who finish in the top four? (16:24) Who, if any, from the Raiders, Sharks, Phoenix or Flyers could make it to the Playoff finals? (22:56) CLICK HERE TO LISTEN(alternative link)

Cheshire could very feasibly finish above Plymouth - 2 points behind them, Cheshire home to Worcester on Sunday, Plymouth away to Glasgow - Cheshire have the H2H (and another game against Royals on Thursday evening).
If Cheshire play anything like they did yesterday (and I think it's harsh to call that result 'choking' by Lions) I'd expect them to pick up at least one win, and wouldn't rule out two.
And this season, I wouldn't rule out an upset or two in the 1/4 finals - all of the teams who finish 5th - 8th are capable of upsetting any of the 1st - 4th over 2 legs. Should be a great play off competition.

If Glasgow finish 4th then Raiders are very likely to miss the playoffs.
If I was Royals I’d want to finish 5th. Glasgow would have to travel there and back for first leg (late evening probably). Royals only there for second leg. Never understood advantage of playing home leg second in playoffs for this reason. 3 leg playoffs a definite improvement!

Just listened to this - interesting as Always.
There’s a debate on who will miss out either Flyers or Phoenix. I am right in saying surely Raiders are just (if not more) at risk of missing out than Phoenix?

Obviously harder over 2 legs - however, if you take Cheshire who should scrape into the play off places - they've beaten all teams except Eagles and Rocks at some point this season (and against Rocks I recall them leading with seconds to go before losing in OT). I think they'll be some really close games throughout the playoffs this year which is great to see, and great for the BBL.

Cheshire would reasonably expect to beat Royals over 2 games.
Sharks would undoubtedly beat Rocks.

As a Flyers fan we go into the final weekend with a chance. If anything, we get a slight rub of the green having to play Royals at home (Friday) when they’ve played away the previous evening v Nix.
Playing them in the second part of their back-to-back gives us a better chance of upsetting the form book - especially at home.
The bizarre thing is Nix and us could win both our remaining two games....and if Raiders or Sharks lose their final game, we would jump ahead of them. Bonkers really.
I’ve no idea how it will pan out....but looking forward to Friday night first of all, and then a road trip on Sunday to Surrey. Amyfilton has arranged a supporters coach, so we are going to give the players the best backing we can.

It was my understanding that it isn't the case that the higher team HAS to play that way around. What my understanding is, is that the higher ranked team gets to pick which way around the ties are played. It's also not three legs, but best of three.
