It wouldn't surprise me if both Newcastle and Surrey won on Friday. No chance we will lose to Surrey We will go into the game at least thinking it matters Otherwise I might have agreed with you Riders to win comfortably. Lions to win comfortably That's no disrespect to Eagles. I don't think they are in any shape to compete properly right now. My biggest hope is Lions totally bottle it. |

Yep let's not forget we've won the league three years in a row and we've took this one to the final weekend at least. We should be incredibly proud.

To be fair Tony G never used to travel with the team to and from certain games when he was at Everton. Gives the guys time to themselves to build a bit of camaraderie without being looked at from above if you get me. |

Tayo was great, as ever. We were 19 up at one point yet they nearly came back at us to grab a win. No minutes for JWH or Lascelles. Injured? Clark had his best game in quite a while.

It was comfortable enough. Scorchers proved to be are a pretty good shooting side and played it in great spirit, I thought. But once Riders had opened up a gap there wasn't really a way back. Scorchers clawed back towards the end but there wasn't really a moment when it looked like they could do enough.
Josh W-H warmed up but didn't shoot the ball and it was clear he wasn't going to be called upon. Presumably a minor injury. Not sure about Rema.
