Much as I thought it was a lovely touch for Pat & Linda to give out the awards, I find it shocking that there was nobody from the BBL there to be part of it too.

As far as I know (And I could be completely wrong here) The BBL were going to hand out the medals the same time as the Lions were awarded the Trophy in Newcastle but they specifically said they would like to receive their medals at the Copper Box on the Sunday. If anyone knows I am wrong feel free to correct me but this is what I had heard on friday. |

Vince is hitting the nail on the head here isn't he..... Fair play to him and the long suffering Lions faithful - I always remember them (in the MK era) as a noisy bunch with a decent following from the early days I started watching Chester Jets at the Northgate, about time they got some reward!
