May be has something to do with the uni exams they get held at the pavilions the seats are pushed in and single use desks are everywhere all over the bar area on the stage and maybe the schedule may allow for them to be put away and taken out?? Especially if they have a late exam Friday!

There a huge cheese festival this weekend that's booked a year in advance. You couldn't take down the court and set up the hundreds of stalls in time

Are we still at the Pavilions on Wednesday? Yeah mate, you coming down? No chance. Too busy at work unfortunately. I'm struggling to make home games as it is.

Personally my idea would be Keep the bracket the same the whole way through not have a system whereby whoever is the top seed plays the bottom available seed That way the club's can know where they stand and the likely outcomes that way the can contact both clubs about when they can get there court's and maybe make a few contingency plans not just make it up as they go along like in this case So in this example the raiders lions could have contacted both the royals and rocks and all put there head a together and make 4 different strategies on How the semi finals would work best for everyone! Couple of problems with that theory:- a) as Gonk has said its sensible therefore outside of the scope of the BBL b) you have mentioned the "C" word..........contingency. In BBL world contingency equates to "potential costs" which is a non-starter. "Seat of the pants" is a far better method of running things in the BBL.

Absolutely ridiculous! 3 intense games so close together! I'd say that's Raiders fault, they have to cope with it. When Lions booked the bank holiday Monday fixture , I very much doubt they thought they be playing the 1st leg on the Sunday and certainly not that distance to travel. The 2nd leg at home certainly didn't help us, would have been better to have had the 1st leg at home the day before. But that's how it worked and it's history now. Raiders gained from the way it worked out for that round but not the next. Until we all have our own arenas it will continue to be a bit of a lottery.

Of course with the best of 3 next season, the issue shouldn't really happen in the same way.

Back to the game… well that’s my last visit to the Copper Box until the autumn done then! Well done to Plymouth. They won, fair and square. Lions got themselves in a nice position where we didn’t even need to win, just make sure we didn’t lose by more than six, at home… and we couldn’t even do that. We were outplayed yesterday, and I respect that. It might not have been the ending we wanted, and I’ll admit I was already planning my trip to the O2, but we’ve had an amazing season. Championship winners, Cup winners, and Trophy runners-up. I’m still incredibly happy with that. And my thoughts now turn to who we may have seen playing in a Lions jersey for the last time yesterday… But for now I look forward to watching how the remainder of the Play-Offs play out as a neutral (well, sort of). And now if you’ll excuse me I’m off to the Lions online shop to buy myself an official 2019 Championship winners t-shirt.

Will Riders be in their Red kit?...think about it Either you’ve been overdoing the strong cheese or you haven’t noticed Gonk already beat you to that joke.

Well we got a text from the supporters club asking if we wanted tickets for Friday ? Let Raiders play twice away at our place at the weekend if they can't get the home venue Surely there must be some rule about this? Riders will want to prepare for the game even if raiders don't want to? Some thoughts on this and play-offs in the future. BTW, your idea that Riders should've been given two home games because Wednesday is a bit inconvenient is possible the most absurd things I've read on here since the pillock from Manchester wanted all finals staged in Manchester so he could be home for tea.
