How good is it to have a job you love like this
A great guy - loving life and giving something back etc

I wouldn't believe everything he tells you on Twitter, this is more likely paid work but not a full time job

He held younger players back at Riders by virtue of being there so I guess its only fair he gives something back to someone...

I sense you're still not a fan... I'm nothing if not consistent.
Don't necessarily think he was an overly bad player and indeed probably had a good attitude from what people say on here, but what he did for Riders could have been swallowed more than adequately by minutes for Ward Hibbert and Lascelles. There's no greater example of this than what Ward-Hibbert did against Plymouth the other day.
I don't like teams that get imports for the sake of getting imports - which is exactly what he was.

Lots of positive with Eric: He came on a scholarship - next to no wages for an import Allowed us budget to have a deeper squad Best attitude in the club. Coaches MVP. Rob spoke glowingly about him etc. Incredible energy on and off the court. And as far as I remember he was our best 3pt shooter (higher percentage than Tyler) - something we've been badly lacking this season So it's not all bad Bigz!!

Thinks there are 3 different organisations he's working with in that link No idea if it's full time or not But when I asked him on twitter if coaching was his hobby or job - he replied "Both" Having done a UNI business degree it may be he does this outside of another job! Regardless it's good to see someone happy and loving their life etc

Lots of positive with Eric: He came on a scholarship - next to no wages for an import - So an import for the sake of having one then? Because he was cheap?Allowed us budget to have a deeper squad - You didn't use lascelles or ward-hibbert much at all last year - so arguably one person ate minutes that two guys could have taken, that's not depthBest attitude in the club. Coaches MVP. Rob spoke glowingly about him etc. - Theres plenty of people I've played with who's attitudes were better than perfect, they got awards at awards night too - doesn't make them useful. Incredible energy on and off the court. - Mascots wave towels as well - except mascots don't eat young british guys who are more than competent's minutesAnd as far as I remember he was our best 3pt shooter (higher percentage than Tyler) - something we've been badly lacking this season - I'd like to see the true shooting % as opposed to the FG stats because I'm sure Bernardini would have been a better three shooter if he'd have just stood in the corner as well. So it's not all bad Bigz!!

So it's not all bad Bigz!! I guess we could have had an expensive import who wasn't a student instead. Lascelles has played less this season than last season without Eric in the squad. Ward Hibbert has played barely any more minutes apart from last couple of weeks without Eric in the squad. Im sure Eric would have liked more minutes himself last season. If we had paid for a typical non student import - lascelles and ward Hibbert would actually have got even less minutes last season than they did. Douse played far less minutes this season as well. So having Eric playing less minutes as an import actually helped our Brits last season and did not hinder them. We rotate players that's what we do. If it hadn't been Eric it would be someone else taking the minutes

Also the few extra minutes josh ward Hibbert has got this season compared to last season is because he's playing better than others like douse and lascelles etc
He's developing still. Maybe they've reached their limit?

In a 30 minute conversation between Atiba Lyons and Rob Paternostro last night, which can be viewed at the Riders Facebook page, Rob named Eric as one of the best players Riders have had during his tenure. And he had an awful lot of excellent players to choose from. Watch it!
