The Radisson Red Glasgow Rocks are delighted to have re-signed Scotland international Ali Fraser for the 2019/20 BBL Season.
Fraser, who has been with the Rocks for the past two seasons, was a key part of the Scotland team who finished 4th in the Commonwealth Games & finished the season strong under Head Coach Vincent Lavandier.
Fraser, the Rocks leading Scorer from the 18/19 BBL Season, returns to bolster a front court with new signings Earl Russell and Eli Pepper. And with Fraser returning, the Rocks now boast five returnees from a team that is currently on a 12-game undefeated run at Emirates Arena.
And Falkirk native Fraser said upon re-signing: “I’m happy to be back with the Rocks for another year. I think both individually and as a team we made great improvements as the season went on last year. I look forward to continuing on that trajectory throughout the upcoming season with Coach Lavandier.”
And Coach Lavandier was delighted with his latest addition: “Ali is back!! I am very satisfied we can continue our partnership with him. Beyond his performance on the field, Ali is an important player for the Rocks, and important in my offensive and defensive device.
For 2 months, I discovered his game, his daily collective involvement. I want to give him the opportunity to become more consistent in his performances.
His progress is not over, his last performances were only the beginning of his evolution: Physically, Technically, Strategically. Of course, he will be our Impact Pivot in our paint with Eli, Earl and… To Be Revealed!
Welcome Back Home Ali!!”
