Leicester are hosting what seems to be quite a large basketball event. t.co/YEFXqrBuk1?amp=1But not at their purpose built basketball venues?

There's more to it than a place to play. Note the announcement text: "The opportunity to expose our brand and players to the Chinese market by hosting such an event at Loughborough University ..." . And read into it "... and the great exposure it gives the University in the lucrative global market for fee-paying students from China". Nothing wrong with that.

Are there more courts at Loughborough? Three in Leicester Morningside, three in Loughborough (two at SDW, one at Netball Centre).
But in Leicester only one can be set up for an audience and in Loughborough, two can (one at each SDW and Netball).

Perhaps they could unearth the next Yao Ming I think it'd be easier to notice a 7'0"+ Chinese giant than a tournament in the UK.
