He has been given the British Empire Medal for services to sport and the community in Leicester.
Thoroughly deserved. Congratulations. Typically, his response was modest, deflecting the credit to others which is a measure of what a great person he is.

Such a great guy, still remember how he gave a few of us a guided tour around the arena a few week before it was finished,
He had such enthusiasm and excitement in him on that day and so he should have after putting in so many years of work to reap his rewards.
Always has been and always will be Mr Leicester Basketball.

Have to say that I don't normally have a lot of time for these awards, but in Kevin's case he certainly deserves something for such dedication and hard work over a long period of time.
