May or may not be of interest...
Feel free to post on this thread if you know of any confirmed transfers involving any past BBL player of note for the upcoming season.
To get the ball rolling,
Daniel Norl - Cheshire to PS Karlsruhe (German 2nd Div, made the playoffs last year)
Evaldas Zabas - Castello (Spanish 2nd Div) to Njardvik (Icelandic 1st Div)

Ex-Scorchers big man Ryan Richards and ex-Nix free scoring guard Jordan Williams are currently playing in Mexico for Soles de Mexicali and Gigantes de Jalisco respectively. The latter is second in the whole league in scoring.
Ex-Flyers PG Hamed Ali is also currently playing in Mexico for Ostioneros de Guyamas. He is currently 4th in the league in assists and second in steals.
Ex- Nix and Surrey forward Dominique Coleman is entering his second season in Brazil with a new team, Paulistano.
Willie Atwood, also ex-Scorchers was announced as a new import for Panteras in Venezuela.
*South American teams play over the summer months.*
At the end of the season Scorchers duo Joe Mvuezolo and Morakinyo Williams both signed to play summer ball in Thailand. Williams’ team currently sit at the top of the standings and Mvuezolo is second in the league in ppg and currently leads in the league in steals per game.
Ex-Wolves big man Lester Prosper is also playing summer ball in the Philippines, and averaging stupid numbers (around 33ppg and 16 boards per game). Interestingly that’s only good enough to be 3rd overall in the league in scoring, and 7th in rebounds.
Ex-Wolves and Riders big man Pavol Lošonsky has been confirmed as returning to Hradec Kralove Sokoli for the upcoming season. Saw him play a few times first-hand last year and along with their PG was bright spot in an otherwise underwhelming team.
Ex-Flyers forward Malcolm Delpeche announced as returning to Muenster in the German Pro B for the 2019/20 season.
Ex-Riders flop Alex Larsson confirmed as playing Sweden for Sodertalje next season.
On a side note, Taylor King resurfaced again last season, playing in Argentina. I remember people making a big deal out of his retirement- safe to say that it didn’t last very long...
Neil Watson got off social media long enough to have a stint in Iraq of all places.
Olu Babalola was listed as playing in probably the lowest echelon of ‘pro’ (and I use that term extremely loosely) basketball in Italy last year.
Zach Gachette also upped sticks and played in the Serie C in Italy last year. Perhaps a return to the BBL could be on the horizon?
‘Ex-Riders Centre’ (don’t recall as to whether he actually suited up in an official game before being given the boot) Donovan Jack has signed with Liege in Belgium.
There’s invariably a few players I missed off of the list but will update it when I have more time and official confirmations are made.

Ex-Sharks PG Jerrold Brooks signs at Evreux in the French Pro B. Evreux also has the comically named Steeve Ho You Fat on their roster!

Evreux also has the comically named Steeve Ho You Fat on their roster! I think he'd just have to go with 'Steeve' if he ever played in this league. Imagine the reaction of some BBL fans if they saw 'Ho You Fat' on the back of a jersey. I noticed a while ago that Hameed Ali seemed to be doing pretty well. Not sure what provoked me to look it up... Lining up potential PG targets for Riders, possibly He led the main Mexican league in assists per game earlier in the year. Most recent team was eliminated from the 'CIBACOPA' playoffs a few weeks ago so probably a free agent currently. Jack played a handful of preseason games for us but never made a competitive appearance. I think he'd have been a decent enough BBL player but the opportunity to sign the great Taylor King was deemed too good to pass up and he was the one who made way. Seems Larsson spent a season as a bench scrub at Sodertalje before heading to college in the States. Imagine he'll be looking at a few more minutes this time round, but not many. Tawiah looking increasingly like one we dropped the ball on.

Two British ex-Riders confirmed as playing abroad next year- Josh McSwiggan has signed with Le Mans in the French NM2 and PG Rishi Kakad continues in the German Regionalliga with Neustadt Shooters.
Kakad has carved out a solid career for himself in Germany, being a key contributor for each team he’s played for in the Regionalliga.

Ex-Wolves forward Jermel Kennedy confirmed as signing for Guelph Nighthawks back in his native Canada.
Ex-Raiders player (don’t recall him getting any significant minutes) Jose Malo and Corletto-era Centre Simon Lokan (again, I don’t remember him stepping foot on the court for Raiders, but was listed as an active player) sign for Alfinden in Spain and Froya Basket in Norway.

Anyone heard anything of Josh Steel ?
I liked him a lot at the Scorchers but then he seemed to disappear in Spain (11.6 minutes 2.8 points in 18 games). I wonder if he is likely to return to the BBL

I wonder if he is likely to return to the BBL He has definitely received offers from higher level BBL clubs, that I know for sure. Whether he’ll choose to return remains to be seen. A bit of a ‘watch this space’ situation...

Malo, was here for the academy and led the eabl in scoring rebounding, was fat and out of shape the whole time. Lokan was terrible. I could honestly put up better numbers
