With him and Alexander gone - going to be an interesting summer - only British fringe players brought back and none of them should be seen as main players. Tuck back so see what happens but without the above 2 we certainly would not have made the playoffs.

A lot of talk around about the time of the launch of the new main sponsors was about cutting some of the budget from the starting 5 to allow for a deeper bench. As part of this the big hitters e.g. Alexander were being asked to take a wage cut or at least no additions. I think it's fair to say his signing would depend on his agreement to a cut. Dirk going can only be a help in this area.

I've posted elsewhere about keeping a balance of a good starting 5 but yet improving the bench. Not an easy job with a tight budget.

Incidentally not heard anything official about signings since that launch day. Been very quiet in that department as a certain person has identified in another thread.

Was one of the few players in this league that was actually worth paying to see play, great handle and shot, and could take a game over, he will definitely be missed.
