I personally think this is brilliant, I'm sure others will even if they wanted him back.

No need to apologise - he was never coming back as his playing days are over, so best wishes to Scott in his future career. Meanwhile what is Fab up to in Toronto ??

Wish him all the best, sounds like a good opportunity for him. He did a masters degree (in project management I think) whilst at Eagles and left to have a couple of solid seasons in Czech Republic after his degree was finished. He retired from pro ball last year so knew he wouldn't be coming back.

He retired from pro ball last year so knew he wouldn't be coming back. Scott spent half a season with Pardubice after leaving Newcastle and seemgly disappeared without a trace from around January 2018. He was a solid contributor in the Eurocup from what I remember, but was efficient without being spectacular or standing out domestically. There was absolutely no announcement about his departure- albeit that’s not anything out of the ordinary in the Czech Republic. It’s sad to see him stop playing- he had a lot of ability and seemed to be able to adapt to various roles on the court; a true pro. On the other hand it’s great to see that he’s doing well for himself now, I was wondering what happened to him.

Scott is one of my favourite all time Eagles players, had four great seasons with us and was the type of player that just got the job done night in night out and was so consistent. Pleased I got to see him play in so many games and help us to many championships, wish him the best of luck in his new role.
He will always be an Eagle and have a place in our hearts.

One of the most impressive and intelligent players in the U.K. Hopefully he will now be able to identify and refer on some to the Eagles talent from Notre Dame ......
