Just working my way through the Surrey fixtures. Interesting to see that the home games are now almost all being played on a Saturday night rather than a Sunday afternoon. Hopefully this will lead to a pick up in attendances although it is going to be interesting in the second half of the season as the Surrey Storm netball team usually use the Sports Park on a Saturday night.
One other thing I noted was that the New Years Day game which in the last few seasons has been played against one of the London teams is this year slated for a 2pm tip against Manchester. I can't imagine the Giants will be very happy about a 7am start to get to Surrey on Jan 1st !

I love that you do a new years game. Things like this are great at building a club

Can any Lions fans help - can’t see when you play Surrey at home in the cup?

I'm led to believe two bbl clubs besides the ones already known are changing their home venue this coming season for the full duration of it at least! This could be the reason for some days etc changing. Waiting patiently

So highlight of the Phoenix fixture list is the week end before Christmas. It's a choice of last minute shopping OR Friday 20 th away at Surrey Scorchers then away at the Rocks up in Glasgow on Sunday afternoon. Wonderful!! Visiting the Scorchers is one of the few places I still haven't been to yet, suspect it will have to wait till next season, can't see me getting there on that date ( unless we draw them in the cup/ trophy/ playoffs??).

Although it may be easier to list the ones definitely not moving, that's Eagles, Riders and Phoenix to my knowledge.

Raiders have no other venue in Plymouth that could hold more than 50 people. Were not going anywhere

All change at Riders too, Just flicked through our fixtures and every home game is on a Friday, I personally like it, it seams to make the weekend longer leaving Saturday and Sunday night free,

Still think it's a push for families with young children. We OAPs don't have that problem...

Not as many away fans though.
Don't fancy getting to Leicester in Friday tea time traffic. Possibly would have to leave straight from work. Long day, particularly after a defeat.
Much prefer Saturday's, nice easy drive down. We've even stopped over Saturday night a few times.
This could work in Riders favour, not as many away fans. Not as though you need much more help along with the refs. (Joke) [honestly]
