Gerry Montgomery passed away yesterday.
Had a massive influence on sport in Sheffield and indeed the Sharks. It is his company MLS that are the main sponsors of the Sharks.
Had a lot to do with getting the student games to Sheffield and the first 50m Olympic pool outside of London.
Gerry gets a mention in BBL tweets. I've not checked the website but I'd guess that they'll be a write up there.
