I can't really see any point in someone living in London travelling to Newcastle or Leicester to watch the BBL unless they support one of the teams involved in the game. They're getting a BBL game regardless, and it seems unlikely that Dunkster is ever going to be satisfied with that. I have a pretty high basketball IQ and have been to games in most countries in Western Europe and by no means do I have high expectations for BBL games. Just seeking decent ball events with decent quality of play. People talking about 40 year old almost washed up Lithuanian is not exactly good British basketball is it? If it’s only about the ball, then where in London can I see good 18-20 talent? I would find that more interesting I think.

If you wanted the best 16-19-year-old players, midweek afternoon EABL games would be your best bet. Whether you could just walk into a college campus is open to question.
18-20? Generally the best kids are in the States, maybe a few in Europe. BUCS is the university league, generally Wednesday afternoons, Loughborough and Team Newcastle also play in Division One. Worcester and Bristol in the BBL have college links, while several D1 clubs have similar links. At Leopards we will have several Oaklands & Uni of Herts players on our roster this year.

Thank you bro. Just trying to figure this out. I will look up this EABL then. How far is Oakland from central London. Can I get there by the subway?
