May have missed this but don't think anyone has posted about this. Recent podcast entitled " The Ben Thomas one" is an interview with Ben Thomas ( you guessed it from the title) about his work with the Cheshire Phoenix, his recruitment this season and hopes for the future. Interesting 40 minutes of listening on a wet Saturday afternoon especially if you're a Nix fan.

I dont mean this in a negative way but I was surprised to hear how open he was about potentially leaving Cheshire, especially when he said for another bbl team.
Not to say hes shopping around but you dont usually hear a coach mention it.

Great listen tho Suppose he is only being honest, wanting to do the best job with the best talent with the biggest budget he can get. Great fella, great attitude, really hard worker willing to do anything to get the best out of the team and for the team. Would be difficult for anyone to prise him away seeing he's a near 20 year fan of the club. |
